About
I am an instructor in the English and Developmental Instruction departments at Bloomsburg University (PA), and a doctoral student in comparative literature at SUNY-Binghamton.
My current research is on George Eliot and the influence of German thought, travel and science in terms of her career and life transitions (e.g., literary critic and translator to fiction writer) and "experiments" in fiction, leading to the eventual development of her realist aesthetic.
